Firstly, we need to know the characteristics of the congress or meeting (languages of the speakers, target languages, characteristics of the space, dates, times, location, etc.). Once the quotation is accepted, we will sign a purchase order and form the best possible team of interpreters for your event. We ask for a deposit so that the interpreters can block their agenda for your event. A few weeks before the event, we visit the venue to find out where the sound equipment is to be installed. Finally, we will ask you to send us the documentation related to the congress, so that we can prepare in time and thoroughly.

It will depend on the duration of the event. From 45 minutes onwards, a team of two interpreters per language combination is required.

The complexity of simultaneous interpreting means that the interpreters take turns in the booth every 20 or 30 minutes. This is the only way to maintain maximum attention, interpret all day long without getting mentally exhausted and ensure the necessary quality.

This method is usually used in presentations to the media or in very formal meetings, when the speaker explains his idea, the interpreter takes notes of his speech and, subsequently, restitutes it in the target language.

This method is used in more informal meetings with a small group of people. A single interpreter can work alone if the meeting does not last more than 4 hours.

Whispered interpretation is used in contexts where only one person requires interpretation.

This is, for whatever reason, the interpreters cannot travel to the place of work of the event. Currently, we have computer programs that allow us to perform the interpretation via the Internet, in very particular cases, not in all. However, it is always preferable for the interpreter to travel to the place of the event, as this way they can work under optimum conditions and offer a better-quality service.
